As a 7 year old girl I remember fierce love arising in me. My girlfriend was hit by her parents. The prints of harm were clearly viewable on her arms and body. One day I went to her home. I could barely reach the doorbell. The mother opened the door and the father also came. I looked at them and said: ‘If you ever hit Sandra again, I am going to the police!”. Then I turned around and ran home as fast as I could.

Have you ever had an experience where you had to act otherwise you or someone else would be harmed? This, to me, is fierce love, arising from the depths of your silent heart and calling to be expressed, no matter the circumstances.

You are Fierce Love. And in these turbulent times of fog and howling winds of turmoil, actions arising from fierce love are needed now more than ever.

Resting in your silent, open heart, allowing yourself to be pierced and broken open by life, makes your vessel empty, allowing fierce love to arise into expression when needed. It can be scary at first when fierce love flows through you into action. The spark that you are acts out of nowhere, with no thought. It just happens. It takes courage to join the flow of spontaneous action. You are alive. Fierce love in action is born.

During this retreat, we will nourish our silent heart, the home of fierce love. We’ll find our way in by slowing down, listening inwardly and anchoring in the spacious heart of silence. We may receive a whisper in our ears or a strong loving hand pulling us right back into our essence with the clear voice: ‘Here you need to be. Here is the nourishment, the power and fierce love. Be in the intimacy of here now and feel all that is, however easy or challenging. Let fierce love be your guide.'
