Sacred Sexuality

In many traditions, spirituality and sexuality have been seen as opposites, the one apparently detracting from the other. If you take sexuality to be what you read about in the media, then this is understandable. We are told that orgasm is the most important goal, that you need to learn the appropriate techniques in order to satisfy your partner, that sex is all about excitement, results and personal satisfaction. Friction sex, we could call it, the rubbing together of two bodies for the pleasure of the separate ego. Love, or deep union with the other, doesn't really come into it, since we can only love when the ego has let go of its grip on who we think we are.
In the nondual tradition that I feel part of, everything is sacred. Sexuality is sacred when it becomes the making of love from Stillness. What I mean by sexuality or lovemaking is not necessarily about excitement. I am talking about the making of love from Stillness, rather than from the drives of the ego; the Stillness that lives and breathes all things. When this Stillness settles in, one can just be here, fully in the senses without any commentary of mind. The more we can be just here, in the senses, moment to moment, this is where Stillness, which is Truth, lives. Truth lives in and as the body, right here, right now. When Stillness is embodied as the truth of our experience, lovemaking becomes joyous, fresh, spontaneous, vibrant, a sheer delight.

True sexuality, or love, can be as exciting and orgasmic as egoic sex, but the difference is that it is not trying to go anywhere or achieve anything. Arising from Stillness, it goes wherever it goes. It has no goal and no mission. There is nothing to gain or to lose. It comes from a place of deep relaxation. Love is center free and direction free. This is the context, the ground, for my sexuality workshops: we learn to completely relax into ourselves, to trust ourselves as we are, and to let our bodies move freely from Stillness. Then, in the making of love, the lovers vibrate with the perfume of sacredness, sacred sexuality.

Sacred sexuality retreats for women
The main focus of these retreats is to slow down. It is in this slowing down that the direct experience can take on a fullness, a vibrant openness. In this openness we can see in the moment what truly wants to happen. This can be a great relief for the many women who say 'yes' when they mean 'no' or visa versa.

In these retreats you will receive instruction, demonstration and practice in the art form of giving and receiving sacred spot (g-spot) massage. This unique initiation ritual is an activation and healing process, helping to free residual shame or wounding regarding the body and sexuality. Even if there is no sexual wounding, this retreat increases the delight of owning your body. Any woman can attend! Together we bring sexuality into a freer light, honoring it as a sacred sacrament. This is a profound experiential weekend that opens women to the natural orgasmic flow that is innate in them all.

In these retreats I create a safe environment to cultivate intimacy and explore sacred relationship. This requires tenderness towards oneself and your partner. Also, the absolute willingness to stay true to who you are in every moment. During these retreat you are invited to take a risk in opening your precious heart to all of life, the sorrows, the joys, the fears and the Stillness. In this workshop you will also receive instruction, demonstration and practice in the art form of sacred spot massage. Sacred Sexuality for individuals and couples
I also offer sessions for individuals and couples to explore issues around sexuality. Through prayer and ritual I create a safe and sacred space for clients to unfold in their own timing. We will welcome and explore whatever is current for you in the areas of sexuality and intimacy. In general these sessions increase the delight of owning your body and deepen the Stillness that you already are.
